Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm.
Early arrival and late check-out is based on availability and may result in a charge depending on the time requested. Please call the hotel at 301-277-7777 on the day of arrival to inquire about the availability of rooms prior to the 4:00pm check-in time. For late check-out requests, contact the desk the day prior to check-out to request an extension beyond the 11:00am check-out time.
Guests must be 21 years or older. Valid picture ID is required upon check-in.
ADA-compliant guest rooms are available and should be reserved in advance. If you require an ADA room, please notify The Hotel at the University of Maryland or call 301-277-7777.
The Hotel has a Spa, pool, and fitness center located on the 4th floor.
The Hotel at the University of Maryland participates in the Southern PAWs (Pets Are Welcome) program. At this time, dogs are permitted up to 100 pounds, with a maximum of two dogs per room. A non-refundable $75 pet fee will be charged (per stay). A waiver will be required at check-in and you will receive your PAWs welcome kit. To learn more, visit our PAWs page. All service animals are welcome.
The Hotel at the University of Maryland is 100% smoke-free. One cannot smoke within 200 feet of the building in accordance with Prince George’s County law. A $250 fee will be charged to the guest’s account should smoking occur anywhere inside The Hotel.
An extra person charge of $20.00 per person will apply if there are more than 2 adults (18 years or older) in the guest room. Rollaway beds are not permitted in guest rooms with two queen beds. There is a $15.00 fee per night for rollaway beds placed in guest rooms.
All guests must present a major credit card or debit card as guaranteed method of payment upon arrival. The credit/debit card presented will be authorized for the total amount of the guest’s stay plus an additional $50.00 per night for incidental charges. Nothing is charged to the credit/debit card until check-out. At check-out, the credit/debit card will be charged or the guest may pay cash for charges incurred. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution. The Hotel at the University of Maryland is not responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
